PayDay Copycat

This time of year is my favorite as the holidays peak! I have been busy in the kitchen with delightful treats for those I hold dear. Today I tackled a payday copy cat recipe which I put my own twist on.

“Payday copycat recipe”

3 cups of raw peanuts ( I salted and toasted mine in the oven prior to adding)

2 Cups marshmallow fluff

1 can sweetened condensed milk

2 bags peanut butter chips

2 1/2 tbls. butter

Use a deep pan or casserole dish that is ungreased. I used this pan to toast all my peanuts on high in the oven for 7 minutes then salted them and divided the three cups into two parts (you can either remove or leave the skins, I left them). The first half goes on the bottom of the dish and the second half goes on top of your peanut butter mixture.

In a large saucepan combine butter and peanut butter chips, once melted add your fluff and sweet condensed milk.  After all your ingredients are well mixed you can add them to the top of the toasted peanuts then top with your left over nuts and leave to chill overnight before cutting into pieces.

I hope you enjoy this delicious copycat recipe as much as I do! I can not wait to share these delightful treats. MMMMMM!
